About Me

img_0143.JPG

My name is Jennifer. I am an optimist with pessimistic tendencies, a lazy enthusiast, a night owl and a perpetual procrastinator. I enjoy photography, drawing, writing and traveling, to name just a few. My current lifetime goal is to set foot on every continent (airports don’t count), already having been lucky enough to live in Australia for a year as an exchange student. Although I majored in conservation biology, I’ve always believed that the greatest scientists are poets and mystics at heart. My goal is to become one of them, though not for a while. There is too much to see in this world before settling down to a specific field. Currently, I’m working for Aeon teaching English in Akita, Japan.

Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you so desire.

If you’re wondering, the kanji character behind me means ‘dream,’ or so I’ve been told. For all I know, it actually means ‘deadly spider’ or something equally horrifying.

I love all of the pictures you are adding to your blog. Just one request…. Could you take more pictures that actually have YOU in them? Just would like to see more of you! Love you!

I too am enjoying all the pictures. I didn’t realize Japan was so green and lovely. Now I’m thinking a trip to Japan would be a pretty good idea.

Now, about those eyebrows…………..just kidding! It must not have been easy to shoot a picture of yourself. Anyway, keep the pictures coming. Good job.

    Love and hugs,

    Hello Jennifer,

It’s Heather from Cedar Mill Vet. I was doing some cleaning and found the card you left for me when you left. I am so glad you are having a good time. Japan is beautiful.

We moved into the whole buliding in November and have had many changes in staffing. Dr. Angie is gone and Dr. Nicole Chamberlin is now working thur thru sat. It’s a little stressful right now because our AAHA inspection is 2/15. Unfortunately my shoulder is still all messed up from my fall in Septmeber and I am still in Physical therapy. It is very frustrating to be so limited.

Well I just wanted to drop you a line and say hello. I’ll check back , love to hear from you.
